This eBook describes a system for development and implementation of
software applications, called M&P, based on
a virtual computer capable of directly
processing application pecifications in the
form of models.
The models describe the structure and
behavior of
applications in a simple and compact way. The virtual computer interprets the models thus forming a "Model-Driven
System."
The virtual computer has facilities for parallel processing.
Several virtual computers
can interoperate, in peer-to-peer modality,
locally or over the Internet, allowing distributed
processing of applications.
Applications based on this virtual computer can
be data-driven, event-driven and
process-driven
(workflow).
The system can achieve a productivity of development several times
(10x - 20x)over the development
ssystems used at present, a very high level of adaptability in
applications and an excellent performance in processing.
The virtual computer is built using the
.NET Framework
technology of Micorsoft and implements a Plug-and-Play software component-based architecture
(dynamically connectable components) .
The M&P applications meet the
declarative-imperative
schema:
Applications =
Markup + Code
The markup used is XAML and the
high-level-abstraction code reside in
Plug and Play components.
The eBook includes a section entitled "M&P
Executive Summary" for on-specialist readers who wish to learn the
features and benefits that can be obtained from M&P.
